About Ishaan
I’m Ishaan, a young professional in banking with a background in economics and financial analysis, and I bring a relatable, supportive approach to tutoring. I focus on making math less intimidating by keeping sessions interactive, practical, and easy to follow. I understand that math can feel overwhelming at times, so I balance focused learning with lighter, more relaxed sessions to help students stay engaged without burnout.

With a background in Economics and professional experience in financial analysis and banking, I emphasize helping students understand not just how to solve problems, but why those concepts matter in everyday life. I follow the Ontario curriculum closely, ensuring that students from Grades 6–12 receive targeted support aligned with their school requirements, including dedicated preparation for the Grade 9 EQAO assessment.
A typical lesson begins with a brief recap of previous material to assess understanding and retention, followed by the introduction of a new concept explained through real-world scenarios. Students then work through guided practice problems, supported by interactive activities to reinforce learning in a fun way.
