About Tom
I am a Mathematics BSc graduate from the University of Edinburgh and I achieved 3 A*s at A level including Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I tutored in my Gap year and thoroughly enjoyed it until COVID prevented me teaching further. Now having finished my degree, I am looking forward to helping students achieve their goals again.

Understanding the different topics in Maths can be a challenge - but it is often not the main one. Having only sat my A levels a few years ago, I have recent experience of what it takes to do well in these exams and therefore, how can we apply our knowledge of a topic to the particular exam question so we can answer it in the desired fashion. I aim to give students the necessary understanding through a clear and concise approach and use plenty of context in my teaching to show students why they are studying particular topics.
