About Lauren
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a degree in Mathematics (Education). I currently work as a teacher at a high school in Scottsdale. I am well versed in all high school and college-level topics.
I have worked as a private tutor for the past 8 years and have guided my students towards a variety of different achievements and goals.
I am qualified to tutor students in all of the courses listed: algebra 1, trigonometry, geometry, algebra 2, pre-calculus, calculus (AP, I, II, and III), statistics (AP), linear algebra, and differential equations.

I strongly support the idea that learning is interactive and filled with discussion! I believe that the why and the how in math are extremely important, and that helping students understand the purpose behind what they are doing will create stronger connections in their problem-solving process.

Lauren is an amazing teacher. She thorougly explained and showed me instead of telling me how to solve equations. She is knowledgable, understanding, kind, and funny which makes the best type of teacher. I would highly reccommend her to anyone who needs a tutor!
Lauren has tutored me time and time again for multiple college level math courses I have taken. I went from being clueless in my in person math class to getting an A on the final all because of the way Lauren teaches. She explains material in a multitude of ways to make sure it clicks in your head. I think just being able to go from knowing nothing to passing my classes proves Lauren’s trustworthiness as a teacher and tutor.
