About Mitchell
My passion for mathematics began in childhood, inspired by patterns, logic, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with both theoretical expertise and practical problem-solving skills. Over 12 years, I have helped students develop clarity, analytical ability, and confidence in understanding complex mathematical concepts.
My teaching methodology focuses on clear explanation, interactive engagement, and practical application. I aim to make lessons intellectually stimulating, supportive, and adaptable, enabling students to learn effectively at their own pace while building conceptual mastery and problem-solving confidence.
Outside teaching, I explore mathematical research, applied modeling, and innovative problem-solving approaches. Witnessing students progress from initial hesitation to mastery, strengthen critical thinking, and apply concepts creatively is incredibly rewarding. My goal is to empower learners to approach mathematics with curiosity, clarity, and confidence, building skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Mathematics is an essential tool for developing logical reasoning, structured thinking, and analytical problem-solving. My lessons cover algebra, calculus, probability, combinatorics, statistics, and applied mathematical modeling, emphasizing the connection between abstract concepts and practical applications. Students are encouraged to explore problems creatively, ask questions freely, and develop confidence in both theoretical understanding and applied problem-solving skills.
Lesson plans are customized to each student’s ability. Beginners start with arithmetic, foundational algebra, and step-by-step problem-solving methods. Intermediate learners work on functions, equations, geometry, applied problems, and graph interpretation. Advanced learners delve into calculus, optimization, probability modeling, proofs, and competition-level exercises. Each session combines conceptual explanation, guided exercises, and application examples to ensure mastery and confidence.
Mathematics education strengthens analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and intellectual independence.
