About Jasmine
My fascination with mathematics began at an early age when I became intrigued by patterns, numbers, and logical relationships in the world around me. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics and an M.Sc in Computational Mathematics, providing a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied domains. Over 10 years, I have helped students of various abilities build conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in their mathematical abilities.
I prioritize structured, engaging, and student-centered teaching. Lessons incorporate stepwise explanations, visual aids, interactive exercises, and real-world examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore multiple methods, and think critically, promoting independent reasoning and analytical competence.
Outside of teaching, I continue exploring applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, and analytical problem-solving projects. Witnessing learners transform confusion into understanding, hesitation into confidence, and curiosity into mastery is deeply rewarding. My mission is to equip students with not only technical skills but also intellectual confidence, resilience, and a lasting appreciation for the beauty and utility of mathematics.

Mathematics becomes meaningful when learners understand not just formulas, but the reasoning and patterns behind them. My lessons are designed to cultivate deep conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills across algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, and geometry. I employ visual demonstrations, interactive exercises, and real-life applications to connect abstract concepts to practical contexts. Each session encourages reflection, exploration, and independent reasoning, so students gain both confidence and competence. By creating a supportive and engaging environment, I ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions, testing hypotheses, and exploring multiple strategies for solutions.
I tailor lessons to the student’s skill level. Beginners focus on basic operations, number sense, foundational algebra, and geometric visualization. Intermediate learners advance to multi-step problem-solving, applied calculus, probability analysis, and mathematical modeling. Advanced learners tackle abstract proofs, optimization, functional analysis, and real-world modeling challenges. Practice exercises, feedback, and discussions are integrated into every session to reinforce understanding while developing critical thinking and independent reasoning.
Mathematics lessons also strengthen patience, attention to detail, and logical reasoning.
