About Riyah
My interest in mathematics developed during my Master’s Degree in Mathematics, where I explored different areas of the subject and developed a deep understanding of how mathematical concepts connect with each other. I was always interested in how logical thinking can simplify even complex problems. Over the past 11 years, I have worked with many students, helping them overcome their fear of mathematics and build strong confidence through structured and supportive teaching.
I believe that mathematics should not feel difficult when it is taught in a clear and organized way. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex problems into smaller, simple steps so students can understand them gradually. I use clear explanations, consistent practice, and real-life examples to make learning more meaningful. I also take time to understand each student’s learning pace and adapt my teaching style so they feel comfortable and supported throughout their learning journey.
Outside of teaching, I continue exploring different areas of mathematics and thinking about new ways to explain concepts more effectively. This continuous learning helps me improve my teaching and provide better support to my students. Teaching mathematics is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students move from confusion to clarity and from hesitation to confidence. Watching them grow in their understanding, develop problem-solving ability, and feel proud of their progress is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Mathematics becomes much easier and more enjoyable when students understand the logic behind each step instead of memorizing formulas without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on building a strong foundation by explaining concepts in a simple, structured, and patient manner. We begin with basic topics such as numbers, algebra, and simple equations. I use clear explanations, step-by-step methods, and relatable examples so students can understand how mathematical ideas work in a logical way. This approach helps reduce fear and builds confidence from the beginning.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and problem-solving techniques. I guide them carefully through each concept so they understand both the method and the reasoning behind it. Each lesson includes structured practice, detailed explanations, and correction sessions that help students improve their accuracy. I also focus on developing clear problem-solving strategies so students can approach even complex questions with confidence and clarity.
Mathematics lessons also help students develop logical thinking, patience, and strong analytical skills that are useful beyond academics. They learn how to approach problems step by step and understand patterns more clearly. Over time, students become more independent learners and gain confidence in their abilities. My goal is to help students feel comfortable with mathematics and develop a clear and lasting understanding that supports their academic growth and everyday problem-solving skills.
