About Logan
My fascination with mathematics began with exploring patterns, logic, and problem-solving in the natural and technological world. This curiosity inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Statistics, blending theoretical understanding with practical analytical expertise. Over 10 years, I have guided students from foundational arithmetic to advanced calculus and abstract mathematical concepts, fostering confidence, critical thinking, and mastery.
I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, combining visual aids, real-life examples, and structured exercises to make abstract ideas approachable. I encourage independent thinking, curiosity, and reasoning, helping learners understand why concepts work and how to apply them effectively. Mathematics becomes engaging when learners develop both understanding and confidence in problem-solving. My lessons cover algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, and analytical reasoning, emphasising conceptual clarity alongside application. I focus on helping students grasp patterns, reasoning processes, and problem-solving strategies rather than rote memorisation. Lessons incorporate visual explanations, real-life examples, guided exercises, and interactive problem-solving to make mathematics meaningful and intellectually stimulating.
Lesson plans are adapted to each learner’s level. Beginners develop arithmetic, algebra, and basic geometry skills to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners explore calculus, combinatorics, probability, and multi-step problems to strengthen analytical and reasoning skills.
