About Zara
My passion for Mathematics emerged from an early fascination with patterns, logical reasoning, and structured problem-solving. I pursued an M.Sc in Mathematics Education to strengthen my understanding of mathematical concepts and develop effective teaching strategies. Over the past 12 years, I have guided students across elementary school math, middle school math, SAT math preparation, and introductory Calculus, helping them grow in confidence and independence. I teach with patience, attentiveness, and adaptability. I take time to understand how each student learns, adjusting explanations using visual models, step-by-step reasoning, and real-world examples. I encourage questions and emphasize that mistakes are an essential part of learning, helping learners build resilience and a positive mindset toward mathematics. Beyond the classroom, I remain engaged in mathematics through ongoing study, curriculum development, and problem-solving practice. Teaching Math is highly fulfilling because I witness students gain clarity, confidence, and independence. Supporting learners in recognizing their own logical ability and potential is the most rewarding part of my work.

Mathematics becomes far more meaningful when learners are encouraged to understand concepts deeply and see connections between ideas. My lessons cover elementary school math, middle school math, geometry, algebra, SAT math, and Calculus, emphasizing reasoning, clarity, and problem-solving skills. I guide learners step by step, building confidence as they progress from simple to advanced topics. Lessons are structured, calm, and designed to foster curiosity while reducing anxiety around complex problems.
Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s level. Elementary school math focuses on number sense, arithmetic fluency, and problem interpretation. Middle school math introduces geometry, proportional reasoning, and foundational algebra through guided visual explanations. Advanced learners work on algebraic techniques, SAT math strategies, and introductory Calculus concepts, emphasizing accuracy, structured reasoning, and application skills. Carefully selected exercises reinforce understanding and build learner confidence.
Maths lessons also foster patience, persistence, and logical thinking. As learners gain understanding, they develop independence and confidence when approaching unfamiliar challenges. Many students begin to view mathematics as logical, achievable, and rewarding. My goal is to help learners feel capable and motivated while developing strong problem-solving skills.
