About Thabang
I became passionate about mathematics because of my teacher when I was doing grade 11. Prior, I always believed that it was difficult. Hence I want to do the same thing for other people who are struggling and change their perception regarding mathematics. I am a professional individual who values time management, hard work, and punctuality. I believe if one of these is missing then the chances of success depreciate.
In 2020 during COVID-19, I volunteered to help learners at my previous high school to keep up with mathematics content for grade 10 to grade 12. I am also working for a tutoring company called 'my academics tutoring services'. My highest qualification so far is the National Senior Certificate with 5 As out of possible 7. I am currently enrolled at the University of Johannesburg studying towards a Bachelor of Education in Senior and FET phase teaching. My areas of specialization are Mathematics and CAT. I am following this career path because I am so determined to change the lives of my future students and yours!

I believe in starting from the basics of mathematics subject and building knowledge up with my mentee. I am able to teach effectively in English and isiZulu. I believe that a lesson is effective if the tutor teaches at a slow pace and acknowledges the diversity of his mentees, that some might be slow learners. However, I am always willing to be flexible, listen to their opinions, and evaluate if they will work. There will be one assessment for every lesson for the mentee to write to check their progress and areas that need more work. I will also provide study and practice materials. My services can benefit every student, whether you are a beginner to advanced level from grade 3 to grade 12.
