About Haylie
I have been helping tutor kids in math since I was in grade school, continued through high school and into college as well. My theory has always been no man left behind so I have always been there to help those who have had a harder time with math as it is my strong suit and favorite subject. When I was young teachers used to try to tell me the way I did math was incorrect however my argument was always that if it is incorrect how come the answer is always correct that can't be true if I am doing it wrong. Well turns out they now teach common core math which is very similar to how I have always done it. This means at a very early age I understood that not everyone thinks and learns the same way which is why I have been successful in helping others achieve their math goals. Figuring out how best to explain it so someone else can learn and apply the information is the basis of how I teach.
