About Abbie
I'm a current Mathematics student at Kings College London doing my Masters in Complex Systems Modelling after finishing my undergraduate at the University of Bath. I have worked tutoring both virtually and in person throughout my time at University giving me over 4+ years of experience as well as in Outreach as a University ambassador. I am also a lover of Ballroom and Latin dancing as well as musicals. I am extremely passionate about Mathematics and am hoping to go onto work in Mathematics research in the future and be more involved in Mathematics outreach. I tutor because I want to help further students understanding of the subject and hopefully create a better love for the subject and maybe encourage them to study mathematics further.

I primarily teach GCSE and A level mathematics online where I typically do 1 hour sessions a week however this can be discussed depending on a students needs. I like to have a primary focus on exam technique with starter activities to focus on building this up. I try to have a student led tuition sessions where students communicate there weaknesses, students are constantly asked for feedback on understanding and whether teaching methods are working. This student led approach is important as I believe every student is unique and therefore requires a different teaching regime.
I have over 3 years experience within tuition and myself have a degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath.
