Hello, I'm Carter!!
A passionate Mathematics tutor who majored in Mathematics and Statistics at university and is dedicated to helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
My interest in teaching comes from a genuine enjoyment of problem-solving and helping others understand concepts that may initially seem difficult. I believe that mathematics is a subject that anyone can improve in with the right guidance, clear explanations, and consistent practice. Seeing students develop confidence in their abilities and begin to enjoy the subject is one of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring.
I have a strong academic background and experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds, which has helped me develop excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. These qualities allow me to explain mathematical concepts in a clear and approachable way, adapting my teaching style to suit each student's individual needs and learning pace.
My lessons focus not only on improving grades but also on developing a deeper understanding of mathematics and building the confidence needed to tackle challenging questions independently. Whether you are preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, entrance exams or simply looking to strengthen your mathematical foundations... I am committed to providing professional, supportive, and personalised tuition.

My approach to tutoring is centred on building confidence, understanding, and independent learning. Lessons are structured but flexible, allowing me to adapt the pace according to the student's progress and confidence level.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged when needed for exam preparation or intensive study. Each lesson includes a review of previous material, focused teaching on key topics, and practice questions to reinforce learning.
