About Shanthosh
I’m a Mathematics graduate with a genuine passion for helping others understand and enjoy Maths. Having studied Mathematics at university, I understand that even difficult topics can become much easier when they are explained clearly and approached in the right way.
I’m patient, approachable and enjoy breaking complex problems down into simple, manageable steps. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and to build confidence in their own ability, rather than feeling intimidated by Maths.
For me, tutoring is not just about helping students achieve better grades. I want to help them develop stronger problem-solving skills, improve their confidence and hopefully start to enjoy Maths along the way.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student, focusing on the areas they find most challenging and explaining concepts in a clear, simple and practical way. I like to break difficult topics down step by step, work through examples together, and then give students the opportunity to solve questions independently to build their confidence.
Lessons are typically one hour, although this can be adapted depending on the student’s needs. I have a degree in Mathematics and can support GCSE and A-Level students with understanding key concepts, exam preparation, past-paper questions and problem-solving techniques.
My aim is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing a genuine understanding of Maths rather than simply memorising methods.
