I have a B.S. in Math from U.T. Austin, with a concentration in education through the accredited UTeach Program. I have student taught AP Algebra I, and have tutored a wide range of students for the past 3 years.

My teaching method varies dependent on the student. The first lesson is usually to observe the student’s different strategies and where their struggles occur, and I adapt my methods to play on the student’s strengths. In many cases I implement Singapore math, a method proven to dramatically increase math comprehension. Other times I use manipulatives, since many students are visual or tactile learners.
