About Maya
My passion for Mathematics began through an appreciation for patterns, structure, and logical thinking. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, and a PhD in Applied Mathematics. Over the past 13 years, I have helped students build confidence and achieve their academic goals through clear explanations and supportive instruction.
I believe every student can succeed in Mathematics when concepts are presented in an understandable and organized way. My teaching style emphasizes patience, adaptability, and conceptual understanding. Through examples, discussions, and guided problem-solving, I help learners strengthen their mathematical skills while developing confidence in their abilities.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying mathematical applications in technology, economics, and scientific research. These interests help me connect theoretical concepts to practical situations. Helping students overcome challenges and discover their potential in Mathematics remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my career.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to help students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts while building confidence in problem-solving. I teach topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, statistics, and mathematical modeling through structured explanations and practical examples. Rather than relying on memorization, students learn how concepts connect and how mathematical reasoning can be applied across different situations. Every lesson focuses on building understanding step by step.
Lessons are tailored to the learner's ability and goals. Beginners strengthen core arithmetic, algebraic thinking, and equation-solving skills. Intermediate students improve problem-solving techniques, graph interpretation, and conceptual understanding. Advanced learners work on higher-level applications, proof-based reasoning, and examination preparation.
