About Teagan
My fascination with mathematics grew from a love of patterns, logic, and problem-solving. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with expertise in theoretical and applied mathematics. Over 12 years, I have guided students of various levels, helping them develop both conceptual understanding and practical problem-solving skills through structured lessons and interactive exercises.
I focus on patient, clear, and engaging teaching. Many learners struggle with abstract concepts or prior difficulties, so I break complex topics into manageable steps, provide relatable examples, and encourage active exploration. This approach ensures learners not only master procedures but also develop deeper insight into mathematical reasoning and analytical thinking.
Outside the classroom, I remain engaged with mathematical research, competitions, and innovative teaching strategies. Seeing students grow from hesitation to confidence, curiosity, and intellectual independence is immensely rewarding. Supporting learners in developing mastery, resilience, and appreciation for mathematics is the most fulfilling part of my professional work.
