About Jiya
My interest in Mathematics started with curiosity about numbers and how logical thinking can solve complex problems. This led me to pursue a PhD in Mathematics, where I developed deep knowledge of mathematical concepts and analytical reasoning. Over the past 13 years, I have helped students from different levels understand Mathematics through clear explanations and structured lessons that focus on building strong foundations and confidence.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I simplify complex problems using step-by-step explanations and practical examples so students can understand easily. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently, which helps them build confidence and improve their reasoning skills over time. Creating a supportive learning environment is very important to me.
I continue to improve my teaching methods and explore new ways to explain concepts effectively. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence is very rewarding. Many learners who initially struggle begin to understand Mathematics clearly and perform better in exams. Helping them achieve this progress motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the reasoning behind each step instead of memorising formulae without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on important topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry using simple and clear explanations. I break down each concept into smaller parts so students can follow comfortably and build their understanding step by step. I also use real-life examples such as budgeting, measurements, and everyday calculations to help students connect with the subject. This makes learning more practical and reduces fear.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and learning pace. Beginners focus on basic calculations, number sense, and simple equations to build confidence. Intermediate learners work on algebra, geometry, and problem-solving techniques with more detailed explanation. Advanced students focus on complex problems, improving speed, and exam preparation strategies. I include regular practice in every lesson so students can apply what they learn and improve steadily. Clear guidance and feedback help them correct mistakes and strengthen their understanding over time.
As students continue learning, they begin to see Mathematics as a logical and manageable subject instead of something difficult. Many learners develop confidence and become more comfortable solving problems independently. This growth helps improve academic performance and builds patience and clear thinking. My goal is to make Mathematics simple, engaging, and structured while helping students build strong confidence and long-term problem-solving skills.
