About Revika
My passion for Mathematics began with an interest in solving problems and understanding patterns. This led me to pursue a PhD in Applied Mathematics, where I developed deep knowledge of mathematical concepts and techniques. Over the past 11 years, I have helped students improve their understanding and confidence through clear explanations and structured teaching methods. Teaching allows me to share my passion while supporting learners in their growth.
My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I understand that students learn in different ways, so I adjust my explanations to match their needs. I use step-by-step methods, examples, and visual explanations to make concepts easy to understand. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently, which helps them build confidence in their abilities.
I continue improving my teaching methods and exploring new ways to explain concepts effectively. Watching students move from confusion to confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Many learners begin with difficulty but gradually develop strong understanding and interest in Mathematics. Helping them achieve this transformation motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Mathematics becomes more manageable when students understand the logic behind each step instead of memorising formulae. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as algebra, arithmetic, geometry, and problem-solving using simple and structured explanations. I break down complex problems into smaller steps so students can follow clearly and build confidence gradually. I also use practical examples to show how Mathematics connects to everyday situations, which helps students understand concepts more easily. My lessons are designed to create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
Lessons are adjusted based on the student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners focus on building strong foundations in numbers and basic operations. Intermediate learners work on algebraic expressions, equations, and geometry while improving accuracy. Advanced students focus on complex problems, time management, and exam preparation techniques. I include regular practice sessions and guide students step by step so they can improve steadily. Feedback is given clearly to help them correct mistakes and strengthen their understanding.
As students progress, they begin to see Mathematics as a logical and structured subject rather than something difficult. Many learners gain confidence as they learn to solve problems independently and understand concepts clearly. This growth helps them develop strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. My goal is to make Mathematics simple, clear, and engaging while helping students build confidence and enjoy learning.
