About Romi
My interest in Mathematics began through fascination with patterns, logical structures, and problem-solving during my early academic years. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics, and later a PhD in Computational Mathematics. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students from different educational backgrounds while helping them strengthen understanding and confidence through supportive teaching methods.
I believe every learner deserves a teaching approach that feels patient, structured, and adaptable to their individual needs. My teaching style focuses on simplifying difficult topics through visual explanation, step-by-step discussion, and practical examples that students can understand comfortably. I encourage students to ask questions openly because active participation helps learners develop stronger confidence and long-term understanding.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical modelling, data analysis, and modern technological applications of Mathematics. Staying connected to practical uses of the subject helps me bring relevant examples into lessons regularly. Teaching Mathematics is rewarding because I enjoy helping students move from confusion into clarity and confidence. My goal is always to support learners in developing strong reasoning skills while building lasting academic self-belief.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly through structured explanation, guided practice, and patient support. I teach algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and trigonometry in a way that makes difficult ideas feel more manageable and less intimidating. Students learn how formulae and methods connect logically instead of relying only on memorisation. Every lesson encourages active participation and step-by-step understanding.
Lessons are adjusted carefully according to the learner’s pace, level, and academic goals. Beginners focus on arithmetic, equations, and foundational concepts, while advanced students work on functions, analytical reasoning, graphs, and examination preparation techniques. I include revision exercises, problem-solving tasks, and real-world examples to strengthen understanding and build confidence steadily. Students are encouraged to explain their methods because this improves conceptual clarity and independent thinking.
I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning from mistakes and asking questions openly. Many learners become less anxious once they understand that Mathematics can be approached logically and patiently. My teaching style helps students improve concentration, organisation, and confidence gradually over time. Mathematics becomes far more rewarding when students realise they can solve problems independently through clear reasoning and regular practice.
