About Kiara
I've always loved the logic and structure of math, and I try to bring that passion into my classroom. My teaching style is patient and supportive, giving students plenty of time and space to grasp each concept at their own pace. I believe that every student can succeed in math—sometimes, it just takes a little extra help to make things click. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. To keep things relevant and engaging, I incorporate real-world applications into every lesson. I show students how math powers the world around us, from engineering innovations to data science and beyond. This helps them see math as a valuable tool for understanding and shaping the world. Ultimately, I want my students to leave my class with a strong grasp of math and the confidence to tackle any challenge. Whether they continue on to advanced studies or use math in their daily lives, I want them to feel equipped and inspired to keep learning.

Math is more than just numbers and formulas—it’s about thinking logically and seeing patterns in the world around us. My teaching approach is designed to help students develop a deep understanding of math by focusing on both the “how” and the “why” behind each concept.
Each lesson builds on the last, starting with the fundamentals and progressing to more complex ideas. I use real-world examples, visuals, and interactive exercises to make abstract concepts feel tangible and relevant. Whether we’re exploring algebra, calculus, or geometry, I make sure students understand how math connects to the real world—from architecture to technology, and even everyday decision-making.
I believe that math is a tool for solving problems, not just an academic exercise. I work with students to develop their problem-solving skills, helping them approach challenges logically and confidently. By the end of the course, students won’t just know how to solve equations—they’ll understand how to use math to analyze and solve real-world problems.
Math can seem intimidating at first, but I make it my mission to help students break through that barrier. I encourage them to ask questions, make mistakes, and keep exploring, so they can build both confidence and skill in their mathematical abilities.
