About Guillermo
I am a mathematician, I have been studying mathematics at the university level since 2010. I have tutored mathematics to high-school students since 2013. Since 2018 I have been teaching at the university level in the US, at WPI and Johns Hopkins universities. At Johns Hopkins University I have taught mathematics to gifted school students. I have a degree in mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid, a master in statistics and data science from the Complutense and Polytechnic universities of Madrid and a master in Mathematics from the universities of Padua and Leiden. I have published several research papers in Mathematics and conducted research in various countries. I like to help my students understand mathematics and appreciate its beauty!

My method of teaching mathematics is to help the student understand mathematics from its foundations. Starting from simple ideas and concepts we come to develop and understand complex theorems. A normal class includes solving doubts of the student, explanations of the concepts that are not understood, or the systematic study of a subject that is required to be understood. I like to make the classes more enjoyable by discussing connections with other topics, applications or curiosities. It is important to understand the usefulness of mathematics! My classes are aimed at ESO, Baccalaureate and University students. My college classes are geared toward math, engineering, or science students. Depending on the subject, I can consider Master's degree students in mathematics that require support, as well as advanced degree students in mathematics.
