About Claire
I am a PhD student studying computational fluid dynamics at Stanford University. I have an Undergraduate degree in Physics and Mathematics and a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Canadian Universities.

I am a very dedicated and patient tutor. My number one priority is to achieve a strong understanding and conceptual framework to approach problems with my students. I like to work through examples and practice exams with my students with a focus on building strong problem solving practices and skills along with a true understanding of the topic at hand.What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am very skilled at simplifying problems down to the route and then finding out the least complicated way to explain them to the student.

Claire is very competent. But more importantly she is kind hearted, a great listener and effective communicator. This makes her a great teacher and I would highly recommend Claire to anyone looking for a tutor in all things math related!
Claire is an excellent tutor, she helped me in 1st and 2nd year undergrad physics. She made the topics very easy to understand when I was struggling with the courses before. I was getting 50 % in the course after the midterm but after Claire’s help I got 89% on the final!
