About Sylvain
Born in France, raised in Germany, I did a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary sciences (specialization in mathematics and physics) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. I continued with a master's degree in mathematics in the same establishment. I moved to Paris to do my master thesis in theoretical physics at ENS.
Having lived in France, Germany and Switzerland, I am fluent in French (level C2), German (level C2) and English (C1 level)
I am passionate about my studies and I really like to popularize concepts in these fields so that everyone can understand the universalism of mathematics.

I accept pupils from primary school up to level L1 / L2 for English, mathematics or physics courses which I can teach in French, German and English. The lessons will be modulated according to the program and the needs of the students, so I ask that the content of the subject be provided to me reasonably before the lessons so that I can prepare for it.
For students up to college level / high school, I am also able to teach English (grammar, spelling and conjugation, I have no expertise in literature).
Having in-depth knowledge of mathematics and physics, I have the ability to understand where errors in reasoning can occur and can therefore offer different methods of resolution, especially at the pre-baccalaureate level. For students, having touched many different fields in mathematics and physics, I have a great "general culture" in these fields and can therefore illustrate in a comprehensible way the concepts which appear in these fields.
