About James
My name is James and I love mathematics. Since a young age, I have excelled at the subject. In my four most recent maths exams I achieved 100% in three, and 99% in the other. Next year, I am going to a specialized mathematics school in London to continue my education.
One thing I have always enjoyed is helping other students around me. To give an example, I started a coding club for the younger years in my old school after our only computing teacher left. I felt it wasn't right that I could learn to program when they would never have the option to.
My goal is to contribute to the understanding of students in a subject I am so passionate about.

I prioritize helping my students to understand the "why" behind mathematics. It is all well and good to answer the questions, but it is impossible to excel without full understanding.
My lessons typically last for an hour, the perfect time to grasp a new concept but not lose focus.
I have been fortunate enough to help younger students at my old school to better understand mathematics or learn computer science and coding.
I aim my teaching mostly at students preparing for 11+ to give them the added boost they need, but work with GCSE students too.
