About Maya
I am a student at the University of Waterloo and candidate for a Bachelor's of Mathematics with a major in pure mathematics. Mathematics is my thing! I've been tutoring and assistant teaching for 5 years, so I have tons of experience teaching math to kids. I am currently working as a research assistant and get to discover lots of cool new number theory with fellow students and profs!
My downtime consists of going for runs and hanging out with my family (work life balance is important!) Oh, and I'm on a dedicated mission to learn German in one year... :)

My methodology is based on practice, practice, practice. Having the student learn how to solve problems independently is just as important as learning the topic at hand. My study guides and reviews offer a wide variety of questions so the student sees where they make mistakes and starts developing critical thinking skills.
