About Kipp
I have been a high school math teacher for 24 years. I love what I do. Math is always evolving, and I probably learn more from my students thinking about things differently than I do. Learning from student thinking provides me with extra tools that I can use to reach more students. I always want to learn and try to instill that desire to learn in every student.

I believe in talking about mathematics. Being able to explain the thinking involved promotes learning on a different level. I will go through questions you have on prior problems, then explore new concepts with activities and direct instruction. I will always ask you to try what you think is next, and work towards helping understand the why. Learning math is doing math, that is the foundation of what I do.
