I structure my mathematics lessons to be clear, engaging, and student-centred, beginning with learning objectives and a warm-up to activate prior knowledge. I use a step-by-step, visual and interactive teaching approach, often following the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) model to build understanding. Lessons include guided and independent practice with differentiated tasks, real-time feedback, and regular questioning to address misconceptions. I close each lesson with a reflective activity to consolidate learning and assess progress. My teaching style is inclusive and supportive, aiming to build confidence, encourage mathematical thinking, and connect maths to real-world contexts for deeper relevance and engagement.
