About Callie
My passion for mathematics began with a love for patterns, structure, and logical reasoning. This interest led me to complete an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I explored both theoretical concepts and practical applications. Over 11 years of teaching, I have helped students develop confidence by transforming complex ideas into approachable and understandable lessons.
I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics with the right guidance and encouragement. My teaching style emphasizes patience, clarity, and adaptability. I take time to understand where learners struggle and adjust explanations accordingly, ensuring no concept feels rushed or unclear. Building trust is central to my approach.
Beyond teaching, I continue engaging with mathematics through problem-solving, academic reading, and exploring its applications in science and technology. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I witness students shift from self-doubt to confidence.
