About Lilliana
My passion for mathematics began with an early fascination for patterns, structure, and logical consistency. This interest led me to pursue an M.Sc in Pure Mathematics, where I developed a deep appreciation for abstract reasoning and rigorous problem-solving. Over 12 years of teaching, I have helped students from varied backgrounds transform their understanding by breaking complex ideas into clear, manageable steps.
I believe effective mathematics teaching requires patience, adaptability, and respect for individual learning styles. I focus on identifying conceptual gaps and addressing them through visual explanation, structured reasoning, and practical examples. Creating a supportive environment allows students to ask questions freely and develop confidence in their own thinking.
Outside teaching, I continue engaging with mathematics through reading, problem exploration, and applied reasoning. Teaching mathematics is deeply rewarding to me because it empowers learners with clarity, confidence, and logical tools that benefit every area of life.

Mathematics lessons are designed to help students understand mathematics as a connected and logical system rather than a collection of isolated formulas. I guide learners through number theory, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and applied problem-solving by emphasizing reasoning, step-by-step structure, and conceptual clarity. Each topic is introduced carefully, allowing students to see how ideas build upon one another and why each method works within a larger mathematical framework.
Lesson structure is adapted to individual learning levels and academic goals. Beginners focus on strengthening foundational skills, number sense, and confidence through clear explanation and consistent practice. Intermediate learners develop fluency in algebraic manipulation, word problems, graphical analysis, and multi-step reasoning. Advanced learners work on calculus applications, proofs, optimization problems, and exam-focused strategies. Each session combines guided examples, independent practice, error analysis, and reflective discussion to reinforce understanding.
