About Rohit
My name is Rohit. I am an Assistant Professor in Pure Mathematics, based in the Mumbai, and the founder of Next Gen Alpha Mathematics.
I did not become a mathematics teacher by accident. Mathematics chose me — and at some point, I realized that my real purpose was not just to do mathematics, but to make it accessible to every student who has ever sat in front of a theorem and felt completely lost.
I have spent the last 6 years teaching at university level and coaching students for some of India's most competitive examinations — CSIR NET, GATE, IIT JAM, and SET. In that time, I have seen the same pattern repeat itself: students who are genuinely capable of qualifying these exams, failing — not because they lack intelligence, but because nobody ever explained the subject the right way to them.
That is the gap I exist to fill. I started Next Gen Alpha Mathematics because I believe every serious mathematics student in India deserves the same quality of teaching that was previously available only in big cities or expensive coaching institutes. My job is to make that possible — one student at a time, one concept at a time.
Outside of teaching, I am deeply rooted in my values — I believe in patience, in honesty, and in the idea that a good teacher should always be a student first. I am still learning, still growing, and I bring that energy into every class I teach.

I am Rohit, an Assistant Professor in Pure Mathematics and the founder of Next Gen Alpha Mathematics. With 6+ years of university teaching experience, I have taught students from Class 11 all the way to PhD entrance level. My hourly rate is ₹800 per session for all subjects and all student levels. Pack options for regular students: — 5 hours: ₹3,000 (save ₹1,000 vs paying hourly) — 10 hours: ₹5,000 (save ₹3,000 vs paying hourly — best value) Packs never expire. Use them at your own pace across as many weeks as you need. Online sessions (webcam): ₹800 per hour — same as the standard rate. No extra charge for online classes. In-person / home visit sessions: ₹800 per hour + ₹450 travel charge per session. Available in the Kalyan area of Maharashtra only. Free trial class: 30 minutes — completely free, no payment required. The trial is a real class, not a sales call. Come with a topic or a doubt and we will work on it together. You decide after the trial whether you want to continue. Everything included in the rate — session notes, WhatsApp doubt support between classes, and access to free study resources. No hidden fees of any kind.
