About Rayna Joy
My name is Rayna Joy. I am in my junior year of college studying at Messiah College. I am passionate about mathematics, however that wasn't always the case. It wasn't until I met a tutor that changed the way I thought about math. My goal is to be that teacher for students. I have had a lot of experience through other tutoring jobs that I have had.

I first take into consideration that there are multiple types of learners: verbal, visual, hands on, etc. Once I establish that, then I use a variety of different techniques to ensure the most success of the student. My job is to teach the material, but it is the student's job to cooperate and communicate. I am extremely flexible because I understand that each student is different. I also make the topics fun and enjoyable. I know that not many students would want to be spending any extra time studying math, but I present it in a way that makes them feel as though they are playing a game.
