About Maya
My passion for mathematics started early, inspired by patterns, logic, and problem-solving challenges. I pursued a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics to solidify my understanding of both theoretical and practical domains. Over 12 years, I have guided students of all levels to develop analytical reasoning, conceptual clarity, and confidence in approaching complex problems.
I employ interactive, student-centered teaching, combining visual aids, structured explanations, problem-solving exercises, and real-world applications. Students are encouraged to reflect on solutions, explore alternative strategies, and build independent reasoning skills, fostering both competence and intellectual curiosity.
Outside the classroom, I engage in applied mathematical research, modeling, and exploration of new concepts. Watching students transform uncertainty into mastery, from hesitation to confidence, is highly rewarding. My mission is to develop learners’ logical thinking, analytical skills, and lifelong appreciation for the beauty, rigor, and relevance of mathematics in real-world problem-solving.

Lesson plans are customized to the student’s experience. Beginners focus on fundamental arithmetic, algebraic manipulation, and geometric visualization. Intermediate learners tackle multi-step problem-solving, applied calculus, probability analysis, and modeling. Advanced learners explore abstract proofs, optimization techniques, functional analysis, and interdisciplinary applications. Each session integrates guided exercises, personalized feedback, reflective discussion, and hands-on examples to reinforce comprehension and nurture independent reasoning and critical thinking.
