About Vivian
My passion for mathematics began with fascination for how numbers and logic can describe patterns across science, technology, and everyday life. This led me to earn a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Computational Mathematics, where I studied advanced modeling, analytical problem solving, and mathematical systems used in modern fields. Over 13 years of teaching experience, I have supported students in developing strong mathematical understanding through patience and clarity.
I believe math should be taught as a process of reasoning rather than memorization. My teaching style focuses on breaking complex problems into manageable steps, using visual explanations, structured examples, and consistent practice. I encourage learners to ask questions freely and to build confidence through understanding the logic behind each method. Many students grow significantly once they realize mathematics is something they can learn steadily.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with mathematics through continual study, applied problem-solving projects, and interest in real-world mathematical applications. Teaching math is fulfilling because I witness students transform from anxiety into confidence, discovering their ability to think clearly and succeed.

Mathematics becomes far more manageable when students realize it is not about being naturally “fast,” but about learning patterns and building understanding through step-by-step reasoning. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and problem-solving techniques with calm explanation and structured support. I focus on helping students understand why methods work, so they can approach questions confidently rather than relying on memorization. Lessons are designed to feel supportive, clear, and motivating.
Each session is adapted to the learner’s level and goals. Beginners strengthen foundations in arithmetic, equations, fractions, and basic reasoning skills. Intermediate learners explore functions, graphs, trigonometry, and multi-step algebraic problem solving. Advanced students focus on calculus mastery, complex exam questions, proof-based thinking, and higher-level mathematical applications. Every lesson includes guided practice, supportive correction, and encouragement that builds confidence steadily.
