About Violet
My interest in mathematics began during school, where I was fascinated by patterns, logic, and problem-solving. This passion led me to complete a Master’s in Mathematics and dedicate my career to teaching. Over the past 7 years, I have guided students at different levels, helping them build conceptual understanding, confidence, and exam readiness.
I focus on creating a patient and supportive learning environment. By breaking down complex ideas into smaller steps, using examples and visual aids, and adjusting my teaching to the learner’s pace, I help students feel comfortable and motivated. Every lesson is structured to ensure understanding and practical application of concepts.
Outside teaching, I stay connected with mathematical developments and problem-solving strategies to keep my lessons current and engaging. Watching students progress from uncertainty to confidence, and helping them discover the beauty and logic of mathematics, is deeply rewarding. My aim is to inspire curiosity and a lasting appreciation for the subject.

I emphasize understanding patterns, reasoning, and practical applications rather than rote memorization. Lessons incorporate step-by-step explanations, visual aids, and practice exercises that allow learners to apply concepts in various contexts. Students are encouraged to ask questions, experiment with different approaches, and develop confidence in tackling both simple and complex problems.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level. Beginners focus on basic arithmetic, foundational geometry, and simple equations.
