About Rithvik
My fascination with Mathematics began early, inspired by the logic, patterns, and problem-solving opportunities inherent in the subject. This passion led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I gained extensive knowledge of both theoretical and applied mathematics. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students from elementary school math to SAT math and Calculus, helping them develop conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and self-confidence. My teaching philosophy centers on making complex concepts accessible, fostering curiosity, and encouraging independent problem-solving. I prioritize understanding each student’s learning style to tailor lessons effectively. Using stepwise instruction, visualization techniques, and real-world examples, I make abstract topics like geometry, algebra, and Calculus engaging and tangible. I encourage active questioning, experimentation, and learning through mistakes, creating a supportive environment that motivates learners to tackle challenges with confidence. Outside teaching, I remain actively involved with mathematics through research, problem-solving, and curriculum development. Lesson content is tailored to the student’s level. Elementary learners strengthen number sense, arithmetic operations, and basic reasoning skills. Middle-level learners focus on algebraic thinking, geometry visualization, and proportional reasoning typical of middle school math. Advanced learners explore algebra, SAT math strategies, and introductory Calculus, emphasizing analytical reasoning, accuracy, and methodical problem-solving. Guided exercises, practice problems, and personalized feedback ensure mastery and long-term understanding.
