About Lumi
My interest in Mathematics started from a fascination with patterns, logic, and structured problem-solving. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and have 7 years of experience teaching students from different academic levels. Over time, I have helped learners strengthen their understanding and improve their confidence in solving mathematical problems.
I believe Math becomes easier when students focus on understanding concepts rather than memorizing steps. My teaching approach focuses on breaking problems into smaller parts and using clear explanations and real-world examples. I encourage students to ask questions freely and build curiosity so they can develop long-term understanding and confidence.
Beyond classroom teaching, I also focus on developing strong problem-solving habits, exam strategies, and time management skills. I guide learners preparing for competitive exams so they can handle complex questions with accuracy and confidence. My ultimate goal is to help students not only succeed academically but also develop a strong analytical mindset that supports logical thinking, decision-making, and real-world problem solving.

My Math lessons are designed to help students understand numbers, patterns, and logical thinking through clear and structured teaching. I cover topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and probability using step-by-step explanations and real-life examples. Instead of focusing only on memorizing formulas, I help students understand the reasoning behind mathematical rules so they can apply them confidently in different problem situations. This makes Math more logical, easier, and less stressful.
Each lesson is tailored based on the student’s level and pace. Beginners focus on arithmetic, basic equations, formulas, and simple word problems with guided support. Intermediate learners work on algebraic expressions, geometry applications, trigonometric identities, and structured problem-solving techniques. Advanced learners focus on calculus, complex analytical problems, and exam-oriented practice. Regular exercises help improve speed, accuracy, and confidence.
I aim to create a calm and supportive environment where students feel free to learn without fear of mistakes. Many students initially struggle with Math, but step-by-step learning helps them gain confidence over time. As they progress, they begin to recognize patterns and solve problems more independently. My goal is to help learners build strong mathematical thinking so they can approach academic challenges and real-life situations with clarity and confidence.
