About Leira
My interest in mathematics developed during my Master's Degree in Mathematics, where I explored different areas of the subject and built a deeper understanding of logical reasoning. I was always interested in how mathematical concepts connect and how they can be applied to solve real problems. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them build strong understanding and confidence in mathematics.
I believe that mathematics should feel clear and logical when it is taught properly. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand them gradually. I use clear explanations, consistent practice, and real-life examples to support learning. I also take time to understand each student's pace and adjust my teaching style so they feel comfortable and confident throughout their learning journey.
Outside of teaching, I continue exploring new methods to explain mathematical concepts more effectively. This helps me improve my teaching and provide better support to students. Teaching mathematics is very meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students overcome their fear, build confidence, and develop strong problem-solving skills that help them succeed in academics and beyond.

Mathematics becomes much simpler when students understand the logic behind each step instead of memorizing formulas without meaning. In my lessons, I focus on building strong conceptual clarity through simple and structured explanations. We begin with basic topics such as numbers, algebra, and equations. I guide students step by step using clear examples so they can understand how each concept works. This helps reduce fear and builds confidence from the beginning.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as geometry, trigonometry, and problem-solving techniques. I explain each concept carefully so students understand both the method and the reasoning behind it. Each lesson includes practice exercises, step-by-step solutions, and correction sessions that help improve accuracy. I also support students in developing clear strategies to approach different types of problems.
Mathematics lessons also help students develop logical thinking, patience, and analytical skills. They learn how to break problems into smaller steps and solve them calmly and clearly. Over time, students gain confidence and become more independent in their learning. My goal is to make mathematics easy to understand and help students feel confident in solving problems.
