About Evangeline
My interest in mathematics started with a strong curiosity about numbers and patterns. This led me to pursue a PhD in Mathematics, where I developed deep understanding and analytical skills. Over the past 11 years, I have worked with students from different levels, helping them understand mathematics in a simple and structured way. My experience allows me to support learners with patience and clarity.
I believe that mathematics should be taught in a way that builds understanding step by step. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex ideas into smaller parts using clear explanations and examples. I encourage students to ask questions and practise regularly, which helps them build confidence and improve steadily. I also provide continuous support and feedback to ensure effective learning.
Outside teaching, I enjoy solving mathematical problems and exploring new concepts. This helps me keep my knowledge strong and my lessons engaging. Teaching mathematics is very meaningful to me because I get to help students overcome fear and build confidence. Seeing them grow in understanding and develop strong thinking skills is something I truly value.

Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the logic behind each step instead of memorising formulae. In my lessons, I explain topics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and basic arithmetic using simple and clear language. I break each concept into smaller parts so students can follow without confusion. I also use examples and step-by-step explanations to make learning more structured and understandable. Each session is calm and supportive, helping students feel comfortable while learning and building confidence gradually.
As students progress, lessons become more focused on solving problems and improving accuracy. Beginners work on basic concepts and simple calculations. Intermediate learners focus on applying formulae, solving equations, and understanding relationships between topics. Advanced students work on complex problems, exam preparation, and improving speed and accuracy. I provide regular practice, revision sessions, and feedback to ensure steady improvement. This approach helps students develop strong mathematical understanding and confidence.
Mathematics also helps students develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills. As they improve, they learn to approach problems step by step and think clearly. They become more confident in handling challenges and understanding concepts deeply. My goal is to make mathematics simple, clear, and interesting so students feel confident and motivated to learn.
