About Nooreet
Hi, my name is Nooreet Kaur, and I’m currently a student at CSUN, majoring in Mathematics. I’ve always had a strong interest in helping others learn, which led me to pursue tutoring, especially in math. I’m someone who’s very patient, organized, and enthusiastic about breaking down complex ideas into simpler, more understandable parts. I genuinely enjoy seeing that “aha” moment when something clicks for a student—it’s incredibly rewarding. Over time, I’ve developed a flexible and student-focused teaching style. Whether I’m working with someone who’s struggling to pass or someone who wants to get ahead, I make sure to adjust my approach to meet their needs and learning style. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing video games, singing, playing guitar, which I think helps me bring a well-rounded perspective into how I connect with students. Overall, I’m excited about any opportunity to help others succeed while continuing to grow professionally and personally.

As a tutor, my teaching method is rooted in clarity, adaptability, and active engagement. I focus on building a strong foundation by explaining concepts in simple, relatable terms, and then gradually layering in complexity based on the student’s comfort and progress. I believe in creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I primarily tutor middle school, high school students preparing for college-level coursework or entrance exams. Whether someone is struggling to keep up or aiming to get ahead, I design lessons to meet them where they are and help them reach their goals.
