About Jedidiah
Hello prospective students! I am currently in my 2nd Year of my Mathematics and Physics course at the University of Warwick and I can say it was not without taking the time to really hone in on my work. I partake in leisurely activities such as football, running and chess. I really enjoy getting to know my students and their thought processes. People tend to overlook the creative aspect of STEM subjects because there tends to be only one right answer, but the thought process is the signature to your work. The ability to reflect on your work in this manner is extremely rewarding and really helpful in understanding why you might enjoy some areas of a subject more than others. Having completed my A levels myself in 2023, I am extremely familiar with the curriculum taught today and believe that I can impart a good amount of knowledge from my own experiences to assist you.

I quite quickly try to understand areas of strength and weakness, through baseline questions and conversation. The aim then is to find out the common skills between these areas of weakness. In order to build these skills, it depends on the learner: some may need a flank strategy forming multiple links from areas of strength. Others may require a more thorough breakdown of a skill from the fundamental approach, often a combination of both can really bring the most confidence with areas of weakness.
I have volunteered as a tutor throughout my academic career for fellow classmates as well as for friends and family. As a student myself, it was very helpful to allow me to consolidate my learning by being able to verbally communicate my ideas.
These lessons are targeted at all GCSE and A level students regardless of their level. However, very strong students may look to access material beyond their curriculum or place a stronger focus on exam strategy, both of which I also provide.
