About Sophie
Throughout all of my years at school maths was my favourite subject; I love solving problems and establishing an answer. Thankfully, I was also quite skilled in the subject, helping me achieve a 9 for my maths GCSE, and an A* for my maths A Level. Currently I am studying Maths and Economics at the University of Bristol, learning a whole new aspect of maths as a subject, which has helped me in understanding the maths I learnt previously even more. This has inspired me to go back and use these new skills to help others out, which is what led me to tutoring.

I have always loved maths as a subject, and found tutoring friends during GCSEs and A Levels to be a helpful way to revise myself. In doing so, I developed a few ways to approach maths and helping others understand it. A session would last up to an hour ad would include going through techniques and how to do certain questions, then going on to attempt questions from textbooks and past papers. My lessons are targeted for anyone learning maths for their GCSEs or A Levels.
