About Andrew
I am a student with the Open University and have just finished my second year of BSc Maths and Physics. My goal for the future is to progress into postgraduate studies. I am new to tutoring, however I have relevant experience and a passion for studying mathematics, which I believe will be beneficial to the student that would prefer an exciting and more motivated view of mathematics.

I believe the best way to teach mathematics is to first give the student the opportunity to experience and appreciate the bigger picture. For example, how structures form and how they interact, as well as the history underlying the theorems. After this, the focus should shift to the grittier details, as well as how best to answer questions in a formal setting. I believe the emphasis on larger scale comprehension, in combination with the more typically rigorous detail-oriented work, will offer a much more thorough and complete understanding of the subject.
