About Tomiwa
As an engineering graduate from University of Warwick and a MSc Student at UCL I have a very thorough understanding of numbers. I've had a passion for STEM since a young age achieving strong GCSEs and A*AA in Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-Levels.

I have 2 years of tutoring experience in Maths, Physics and Study Skills, and I have helped more than 30 students aged 12 - 18 achieve their desired results. Notably, I helped a student go from a grade 5 to a grade 7 in maths. As a coach and mentor for Elevate Education I have a unique perspective on how best to help students learn. I run tailored lessons that aim to help students understand the content by first going through the fundamental principles before going through practice questions to test and solidify understanding. I go through each part of the specification to ensure a solid foundation for exams. I am familiar with exam boards such as Pearson, AQA, OCR and others so rest assured I know what to expect during the exam. I enjoy tutoring because I like to share my knowledge and help others to realise their potential. I fully understand how stressful yet fulfilling STEM can be and I hope to help students gain the confidence needed to leave the stress behind come exam day and achieve the best grades possible.
