About Samuel
I am 27 and a Qualified Teacher in the UK in Mathematics. I understand how schools work as I currently work in one as a full-time teacher. I approach things with how I know it best works for effective teaching, I am very methodical and like coming up with a process to get an exact outcome every time, this structure helps particularly with exam performance. In my own time - I love watching sports, mainly Football, but also Baseball and Basketball. I am a fan of cruising and travelling in general, as well as being a great consumer of all things Business and Finance related (I worked formerly in an Accountancy firm).

Maths is an essential subject to develop critical thinking and problem solving - we use this every day as adults so it's critical! I approach Maths in my natural calm, patient and empathetic approach to support my students in attaining their goals. Repetition with certain exact methodologies is essential for students to finally get the hang of some of the most difficult topics. The typical lesson length I offer is 60 minutes, however I am open to offer 90 minute and 120 minute lessons should it be sought. I am a qualified Secondary school Maths teacher in the UK, registered with a Qualified Teacher Status as well as a PGCE in Mathematics. I have a clear approach to planning and delivering sessions effectively and so I look forward to teaming up with you in the future! The lessons are for those who require extra support in Maths at KS3 and GCSE levels. I can support with KS2 and KS1 if necessary, however I tend to support those of Secondary school age.
