Rory is a flexible tutor for both physics and maths. He understands that as an A-level student things can come up, and he is flexible with timings and with content. I was looking for an A-level maths and physics tutor in order to help me achieve my predicted grades.
Rory is a great tutor because he has helped me improve my skills and has filled any gaps in my knowledge. He is very organised and has every lesson thoroughly planned in advance so I can get the most out of each lesson. His method of recording notes is extremely useful as I can easily look back on lessons and further consolidate my learning. I started online tutoring with Rory at the recommendation of a former maths teacher, as I needed to learn A level maths within a 6 month period in order to get into University this year.

I had sessions with Rory on a weekly basis where we focused on the areas I was struggling with. I would let Rory know what I wanted to cover that week and he would put together a comprehensive lesson which included example questions and how to go about answering them. Due to the rate at which I was going over the course material, there was often times I wanted to cover multiple things in one lesson, and Rory always made that possible. Rory would also forward me all of the notes from each session after we had finished which I have kept and found useful for revision purposes.

In addition to the weekly Skype sessions, Rory was more than happy to help answer any questions I had during the week via email, and he would always go above and beyond sending me additional resources to help answer my questions. I found this very helpful as I would often get stuck during the week on little things that could be explained easily via email; this prevented me from falling behind as I was on a tight schedule.

From my experience, I would definitely recommend Rory to anyone who is studying A level maths and is in need of a tutor. I wouldn't have been able to get the grade I needed for university without him!
