About Neve
I have spent 7 years teaching children from a wide range of backgrounds, managing to make grade increases of up to 4 levels (Grade 5 > Grade 9). I work full time as a Data Scientist at Nestlé which is a heavily maths-based subject. I have a full DBS check and have 5 years' tutoring experience. I have an undergraduate degree in Data Science, a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, and A Levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Further Maths. Part of my Data Science job includes training my colleagues, so I am up to date with modern pedagogical methods based on research carried out by cognitive psychologists to ensure the most effective learning. I teach so that students are engaged, and efficiently remember and recall information for exams. I am friendly and approachable meaning I can easily engage with students so that they’re focused and driven towards their learning.

I teach a range of ages; from primary school, up to A-Level students. I have also worked with students from a range of different backgrounds, including SEN and can tailor learning plans to accommodate this. I have 7 years' experience teaching Maths & Science, and have helped students increase their grade by up to four levels. Lessons are an hour long if they are face to face, or 45 minutes online to ensure engagement.
