About Thomas
I have recently finished my undergraduate degree (MMath) from the University of Bath, and expect to obtain a first class classification. I specialise in physical applications, particularly quantum mechanics and fluid dynamics, the latter of which I shall be continuing my study with in a PhD. I have been tutoring for 3 years privately and within the university.

Mathematics in particular is often taught as a series of methods and facts to be remembered; nothing could be further from the truth. I work with my tutees to make maths accessible at their level, and to help them appreciate the beauty of mathematics as a language for the world around us. My focus is on increasing confidence through increasing understanding of the subject matter.
