About Joyce
i am a student, maths teacher for children in primary school (years 1-6). I have taken private lessons for previous students and I also enjoy playing the piano which i have a certificate for grades 1-5 with distinctions, passes and merits! I am very flexible, motivated, reliable and an efficient worker. Also, i have got a lot of positive feedback from previous students. However, i study maths and teach it for children in primary school and i have passed my GCSE with a grade 5 i have had experience with maths teaching because i used to get private lessons which has made develop a larger understanding of maths and being organised with students and teaching them methods in an approach that they understand it in which is very resourceful to anyone that is struggling with understanding maths.

Maths methodology:
My maths teaching is very straightforward and resourceful. I teach students in every single prospect that they need to be taught. Some students understand maths in a difficult methodology or an easier methodology which is why it’s useful to teach students because i can understand their brain in which it forms and maths could be so much easier for them and they would enjoy it. I do mini tests at the end of each section that we are working on eg. if the student and i are studying on one topic like times tables we focus on it until we are confident and 100% and i give homework and mini quizes at the end to see where he/she is confident on and have trouble on. This can be very helpful to whereas the student can understand their problems on what they can’t do and can do and can build stronger in their maths.
