About Suhana
I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and an MPhil in Mathematics. My approach to teaching is holistic, aiming not just to improve skills but to reshape the way students feel about math. I understand that many learners face anxiety or frustration when dealing with numbers. That’s why I focus on building confidence through positive reinforcement, personalized pacing, and a strong growth mindset. I meet students where they are, helping them progress step by step at a pace that feels right for them. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to match individual needs. My teaching style in Maths is warm, interactive, and centered around storytelling. I believe that every student has the potential to enjoy math—sometimes they just need a fresh way to see it. For those with math anxiety or a shaky foundation, I create a safe and encouraging space to rebuild confidence.
I use real-life examples, simple games, and vivid visual aids to make abstract ideas come alive. Lessons are designed to be engaging and relatable, whether we’re solving logical puzzles, exploring pattern recognition, or diving into historical math anecdotes. These help students connect emotionally and intellectually with the subject.
I specialize in helping Quant and Economist personas who need clarity, focus, and fast progress. I also emphasize conceptual visualization so students can see how math truly works, not just memorize steps. My sessions include topics like number theory, algebra, geometry, and the art of mathematical thinking.
