About Ezekiel
I passionately believe in the power that teaching has in shaping the future of people’s lives. Nothing compares to a learning experience that adapts to students’ needs, being understanding and mindful of each person’s struggles and styles. Maths has always come easily to me, but my passion for it sparked in any opportunities I could share that understanding with others. After graduating, I spent a year out of university to introduce myself to the teaching world, and am currently employed as a Cover Supervisor. Initially, I was sent to a variety of schools across the North East, where I learned the difficulties of managing classrooms and the difficulties students face.
Constant exposure to maths and teaching in the past decade has prepared me greatly to be a part of a school, where I can help students overcome the challenges they face in the classroom both with the subject and also at a personal level. I recognise that the role of a teacher is more than just imparting knowledge. They have a responsibility to enrich the lives of their students: developing students’ abilities, nurturing their personal growth, showing understanding and patience for the unique challenges they each face, and ultimately preparing them for life as best as possible. I am motivated to become a teacher, and take on those responsibilities, because I know the difference made with a teacher invested in their students’ future, and willing to put in the effort to make a positive impact on their students’ lives.

I combine patience, personalization, and a deep understanding of mathematics, cultivated during my studies and teaching experiences. I tailor each lesson to fit the unique needs and learning pace of my students (especially for SEND students), using my extensive knowledge in both pure and applied mathematics, and exposure to the teaching industry. I believe in adapting to the unique learning pace and style of each student, ensuring they not only grasp but excel in the subjects we explore together. Leveraging tools like Python, I create interactive and engaging materials that simplify complex topics. My goal is to make learning a collaborative, enjoyable experience that not only builds academic skills but also boosts confidence.
